He is GOD!

For the past week, I have had the following verse in mind...

“Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10, NASB95)

Going into the past week I was honestly worried that we weren't ready, that something had been overlooked or forgotten and that everything was going to fall apart. So I have tried to focus and trust in the Lord and with Tori and Barbie at the Chair throughout the week, I shouldn't have been worried! As I am sure you can imagine we have been incredibly busy over at the Bible Chair. Game nights, movie nights, worship nights, and canyon hikes, things have been a whirlwind! We have been so blown away by the support of so many individuals from UCC. Your calls, texts, and words of affirmation have done my heart well as we have jumped into the semester full steam ahead! All that to be said, I have been even more blown away by the student's willingness to invite new students to the Bible Chair and we have been blessed to meet several new students! I encourage you to, if you haven't already, meet with the college students both new and old and continue to be an encouragement to these students! We have signups for our Campus Parents program out now, if you are interested in being a blessing to one of our students by "adopting" them please sign up soon! The program will begin on Sept. 28th!
